A BotBr earns Mappist points by creating game levels, such as for Doom or Super Mario World or ZQuest Classic. A BotBr's Class will become Mappist when they have more Mappist points than any other point class upon levelling up.
A Mappist is represented with the following icon:

Earning Points

• Five (5) points are awarded for submitting a map to a OHB.
• Several points are awarded according to how well the submission scored in its battle. One (1) point is awarded for each subsequent donload of a BotBr's map submission.

Losing Points

---

• Five (5) points are deducted for resubmitting a map before the submission period of a OHB ends.

Mappist Major Battles

Because the Mappist class and its formats are so rare, it's even rarer to see major battles exclusively focused on them.
However, there have been four Mappist majors:
